The Lottery (Response)

The lottery is a short story written by Shirley Jackson in 1948. At first i thought the lottery means money/ big prizes such as car or even other valuable things but i was wrong. The short story is very creepy where human sacrifice has taken place for many years in order to give thanks to their Gods/ they own beliefs. In this story each year they held an lottery events where later they must sacrifice (stoned people until death) one person because from what they believed that by sacrificing 1 person they can get many corn crops since most of the population are farmers. The interesting thing from the short story is that the author didn't the exact prize from the lottery but instead the author gave the answer at the end of the story (the last dialog). My reaction towards this short story is so shocking however it is one of the most interesting short story i've ever read.

War Horse Movie Review

'War Horse' is a dramatic movie that is directed by Steven Spielberg. Steve Spielberg won 3 Oscar Awards for his 2 movies Schlinder's List (1999) for the Best Picture and Best Director and saving Private Ryan (1998) for the Best Director. The movie was based on a famous novel by Michael Morpugo starring Joey a brave young horse and Joey's loveable best friend Albie played by Jeremy Irvine in his first breakout role. Ted Narracott played by Peter Mullan is Albert's drunk father who has a tense relationship with his son. The movie was set during the World War I. 

The story begins in Devon, England where Albert Narracott fell in love with a thoroughbred foal after he witnesses the horse's birth. After the foal grows up, the horse is sent to an auction to be sold. When Ted decides to purchase the horse for 30 guineas he puts the family's farm in danger. Albie is overjoyed and trains Joey to plough. When war is announced Ted realizes he needs to sell Joey to pay the landlord. Joey is sold to Captain Nicholls (Tom Hiddleston) a gentle, kind man who rides Joey into battle. Will Joey survive the war? Will Albie and Joey meet again?

The acting from the War Horse the movie felt so real with the dramatic effect from the movie that makes you feel like you're the part of the movie. The theme song by John Williams is so powerful makes you carried away from the movie. John Williams is known to be one of the greatest film composers. He composed movies from best seller movies including the War Horse, the first three Harry Potter films, Jurassic Park, Star Wars, Jaws, Saving Private Ryan and many more.

I strongly recommend you to watch this movie because there are so many things you can learn from the movie. Trust me it's worth your time rather than wasting your time for something that's not important! Just watch and see it for yourself. Don't miss it!!!!! IT'S TOTALLY WORTH IT.

War Horse (The Movie Summary)

The movie took place somewhere in Devon it’s about the story of Joey who fought in order to survive during the war going on and to meet Albie Narracott. It was started from the auction where Ted Narracott bought the horse for 30 guineas. Albie Naracott fell in love with Joey because he saw the birth of Joey at that time. Albie took care of Joey he even taught Joey to plough the farm so they could harvest it and so they will get money. But unfortunately because of the heavy rainstorm at night it cause the plants died and they can’t get money. So Ted decided to register Joey to participate the war so they could pay all of the money from the election. Albie got nothing to do then to let Joey goter what-however he promised Joey to find him no mat and he met Captain Nicholls who soon is going to be the next owner of Joey during the war but he didn’t succeed. He died during the war. But Joey was saved from the war and he met and Topthorn and they become close with one another.

                   During the time Joey met Michael and Gunther but then they got shot because they took Joey and Topthorn away. After that Joey and Topthorm met this beautiful girl name Emilie but then couple days later when Emilie wanted to bring Joey to lea she got caught by the soldiers because they need horses to help them to  carried a big tank. However Topthorn's leg got injured so bad but he was forced by the army even though Heiglemann has warned the army already  and it caused him died because of severe wound in his leg and dehydration. With the help of Heiglemann Joey can escaped so he ran away and went to battlefield spot and he got snagged wire but he was saved by Peter (German's's army) and Colin (England's Army). While during the war because of the gas Albie's eyes got injured and that's the time when Colin brought Joey-it's when they met each other. Albie spent his time with Joey and on the next day the bells was ringing which means that war's over but Albie couldn't have Joey and it's need to go to the auction. During the auction his friends and relatives helps him but he had only 29 pounds while Grand Pere (Emilie's grandfather) bought it 100 pounds. Albie was begging him so that he could afford the horse. At first grand pere refused it but then he understands how much Albie loves Joey so much by how Joey wants to be with Albie. Grand Pere said that the war has taken everything from them and he only had Joey left (because Emilie really loved Joey) but then he understands him. So Albie brought Joey to their house and he met and hugged his mother and returned regimental pennant to his dad and hugged.

Google TRICKS!

Hey guys we all know that everybody in the world (including you) are using Google since Google is the largest we search engine and it's the world's most popular! 

So I decided to post some Google tricks here are some tricks you may know:

1. Open google and type Zerg Rush in a search bar. The O's are begins to fall and destroying your search results and with your mouse to zap them before the page turns blank!
2. You can access the flight simulator in Google Earth, open the program and press Ctrl-Alt-A on your keyboard (Command-Option-A on a Mac).
3. If you search for 'Chuck Norris' and press I'm feeling lucky, Google will remind you to not to find Chuck Norris, he FINDS you;)
4. Open Google and press "do a barrel roll" and you'll see what will happen!! (This one is my favourite)
5. Type "Google Gravity" and click 'I'm Feeling Lucky' and see what will happen! (Hint: Make sure you disable Google instant result here to make sure you'll get I'm Feeling Lucky option.
6. Type "Recursion" on Google Search bar and there will be “did you mean” suggestions if you search recursion (repetition or returning) by questioning your spelling even though you didn’t make a mistake!
7. Type "elgoog" and hit I'm Feeling Lucky you'll see everything in backwards!
8. Type "Tilt/ Askew" in Google search bar you'll see what will happen!
9. Type "Epic Google" and click I'm feeling lucky the blog homepage will be excessively bigger!
10. Type "Weenie Google" and click I'm feeing lucky the blog homepage will be smaller
11. Last press here and press insert coin and you'll be able to play pacman:D
